Monitor and Manage Your Form
Learn how to check form status, adjust settings, and manage your Google Forms using Termi's real-time dashboard. Monitor response counts, choice quotas, active schedules, and reopen closed forms as needed.
Open Termi Sidebar
In your Google Form, navigate to Extensions → Termi to launch the add-on sidebar and access your form's management dashboard.
Check Current Status
The Termi home screen shows all your active settings at a glance. You can see which limits are enabled, current response counts, remaining choice quotas, active schedules with color-coded status badges, and configured alert settings. For choice limits, the real-time tracking dashboard shows exactly how many selections remain for each option.
Adjust Settings as Needed
You can modify any settings at any time by clicking into the relevant feature section. Options include: increasing or decreasing response or choice limits, switching between opening and closing schedules, updating closing messages displayed to respondents, and modifying email recipients for alerts. All changes take effect immediately, and Termi continues monitoring with the updated settings.
Reopen Closed Forms
If your form has been closed by Termi due to reaching limits or a schedule, you can manually reopen it through Google Forms settings. Simply go to the Responses tab and toggle "Accepting responses" back on. You can also disable Termi limits temporarily, adjust the limits to allow more responses, or modify schedules to create new time windows. Termi runs automatically in the background once configured, requiring no manual monitoring.
Tips and Best Practices
- Monitor early submissions for popular events - if limits are being reached faster than expected, you can quickly adjust capacity.
- Use the real-time tracking dashboard to see how quickly different options are filling up.
- Enable email alerts so you're notified immediately when important events occur, even when you're away from your computer.
Common Pitfalls to Avoid
- Don't forget that manual changes to form settings (like reopening) may conflict with Termi automation - adjust Termi settings accordingly.
- Remember that all changes take effect immediately - double-check before saving significant adjustments.
- Keep track of which features you've enabled to avoid confusion about why a form closed or choices disappeared.
